To inaugurate this year's China Cup International Regatta taking place in October between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, the principals hosted a cocktail party at Dragon-i this month to build excitement for the Chinese yacht race. Organisers used the event to drum up more sponsors and celebrated the fact that 20 new Beneteau yachts had been acquired for the competition. Supporter Albert Yeung Sau-shing brought along several artists from his Emperor Entertainment Group roster, including Yumiko Cheng Hei-yi, Kenny Kwan Chi-bun and Vincy 'Wing-yee' Chan. Also seen were actor Shao Bing, vice-commodore of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club Jimmy Farquhar and key investor Luo Zhaoxing.
