The Centre for Health Protection yesterday confirmed 19 cases of bacillary dysentery, or shigellosis, this month. Five of the victims had dined in a Cafe de Coral outlet in the Cheong Yiu Building, Tsuen Wan. The victims, 10 females and nine males aged two to 58, developed gastrointestinal symptoms between August 26 and last Friday.
