Man tried HK$1m blackmail with sex tape

A 22-year-old man from Hunan province tried to blackmail a Hong Kong woman, 50, for HK$1 million by threatening to release a tape of them having sex. Peng Jun admitted the crime in the District Court yesterday, saying he had threatened to tell the woman's husband about the affair in May if she failed to give him the money. He was arrested in Yuen Long a few days later, with the tape on him.
