Bulls' cheerleaders shine as team lustre fades
Once Michael Jordan's mighty dynastic team, the Chicago Bulls are now just another losing NBA franchise.
In fact, even their cheerleaders are abandoning the team to make some extra money for the Lunar New Year.
As part of its entertainment for the Year of the Ox, Elements shopping centre has enticed the Chicago squad's cheerleaders, the Luvabulls, to do some of their 'rah-rah' dance moves at the shopping centre from January 20 to 25.
It seems unusual that with the current season in full swing, a professional sports team would lease out one of its most popular court-side entertainment groups, especially since the Bulls have two home games in the period.
It is unlikely the whole squad will be coming to town, but the Luvabulls will bring their cheer to West Kowloon before the Lunar New Year with performances from 6.30pm to 7.30pm each night in the centre's metal zone and Civic Square.
