Be prepared to say goodbye to the chinoise chic of Causeway Bay restaurant Water Margin. The Aqua Group's northern Chinese restaurant is moving out of its Times Square location in the Food Forum for a home in Central. 'After much internal discussion, we have decided to relocate Water Margin when its current lease expires,' promotions and marketing manager Warren Lucas explained, citing the reason as 'the changing demographic of the clientele in the Causeway Bay area and the projected future growth of Central'. In other words, there are too many kids more interested in cheap and trendy Japanese food than adults looking for stylish sophisticated fine dining under red lanterns and lacquered bamboo for a much higher price. The restaurant is not closing until March 7, though, and they're promoting a farewell menu until then. They wouldn't reveal where the exact new location would be, though we wonder if the Aqua people won't be competing with themselves with similar offerings at Yun Fu on Wyndham Street and Shui Hu Ju on Peel Street already.
