Borage oil

Borage seed oil is derived from the seeds of the Borago officinalis (borage). It is used medicinally as an anti-inflammatory and for treating arthritis, as well as certain skin conditions, such as atopic dermatitis and eczema. It has one of the highest amounts of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA, omega-6) of seed oils - higher than blackcurrant seed oil or evening primrose oil, to which it is considered similar. It is found in some organic hand and nail creams to restore moisture.
