If you want to tan at home (remember to wash your palms with plenty of soap after application), there are two new products to try. The first is Rodial Brazilian Tan Daily (HK$480/150ml), which is sold at Lane Crawford; the second is Eisenberg's Self Tan Body and Face (HK$549/150ml) gel for quick fixes and last-minute colour. It is sold at Sephora in Kowloon
The Rodial product contains a small amount of tanning agent, so it's a gradual tanner that aims to firm and boost collagen production.
Both are hydrating and don't have a strong chemical odour, but the Eisenberg is instant and is best applied at night (it does give off a mild DHA smell). Exfoliate before applying and don't shower for several hours afterwards. The more layers you apply, the darker it gets.
Use the Rodial as a daily body moisturiser.
