Strictly speaking, we're not sure how strutting down a runway qualifies as developing young people's interest in the arts, but the latest project of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation is to put together an eco-costume fashion show to take place later this summer. What they need are volunteer catwalk models. Specifically, they are looking for girls interested in fashion, aged 15 or older, and at least 1.65 metres tall.
Casting will take place from June 8 to 11, but you will have to book an appointment before next Monday. Those interested should e-mail [email protected] or call 28772656. Since this event will primarily be a volunteer project, the foundation will not be able to pay. However, all models will receive portfolio shots afterwards to help them potentially to kick-start a career.
