Apparently pop-up stores are pass?. The fashionable new thing is a temporART store. Diesel's street-wear spin-off brand 55DSL - started by founder Renzo Rosso's son Andrea - has opened a little hole in the wall on Kingston Road, Causeway Bay, for the next two months.

To make it look cool and fresh, Italian graphic artist Turbokrapfen (centre) was invited to add to the decor with some drawings.

To celebrate, they also brought in Italian underground masked DJ duo the Bloody Beetroots (left and right) for a bash on Friday at Volar.

All three guests are well and truly familiar with the jeans label, since they're also friends of Andrea back in Venice.

'We've been friends for over five years. We all grew up together,' explained artist Turbokrapfen, who has been in Hong Kong for more than a week working at the shop.

In contrast, the DJs were only here for one night, flying in from Australia and then jetting off to Japan the next day.
