Bobo Chan Man-woon (right) will forever be linked to the Edison Chen Koon-hei sex-photos scandal. But on Wednesday, the former singer, actress and Edison 'victim' turned a new leaf and, with her (still) boyfriend Philip Kam next to her, opened a crystal boutique in North Point. Showing up in high spirits with a circle of entertainment friends, including Alan Tam Wing-lun, Nat Chan Pak-cheung, Denise Ho Wan-si and Theresa Fu Wing, Bobo Chan dotted the lion's eye at the grand opening of her Crystal Gem shop. Of course, the media asked her about the sordid scandal that drowned her showbiz career. Chan said she had moved forward with her life. 'The incident has taught me how to respect others,' she said. The 29-year-old also said she was leaving behind singing and acting so as to avoid bringing more trouble to her family and friends. She then declined to comment further on the incident. One thing she did emphasise was that she wanted to thank her boyfriend, 'who has been there by my side at my lowest time'. She denied various rumours published about her relationship. 'We have never talked about getting married. We haven't quite reached that stage yet. I was shocked when I heard the news about my having a baby. That was just absurd.'
