Desperate to restart his career, Hong Kong exile Edison Chen Koon-hei has taken a role in a new film by Asian-American director Bertha Pan Bay-sa. The movie, Almost Perfect, stars Kelly Hu of The Scorpion King and Sammo Hung Kam-bo's television series Martial Law. The story has been described as 'an Asian woman who juggles the competing needs of her new boyfriend and her immediate family'. Details of Chen's role in the English-language film have not yet been revealed, but if he has signed on, it will be the disgraced celebrity's first gig since his highly documented sex-photos scandal.
