Finally, some of the outlets at the new boutique hotel in the old Marine Police Headquarters in Tsim Sha Tsui have had their soft openings and the operator, the Aqua Group, is eager for Hongkongers to come over to try them out. Specifically, people living on Hong Kong Island. Everyone in Kowloon and the New Territories is welcome too, but the group has devised a post-dinner promotion just to appease those islanders who only reluctantly cross the water. The pricey lodging, called Hullett House, only has 10 suites, but there are five restaurants. Two of the outlets, a casual cafe called The Parlour and the steak and seafood-oriented Stables Grill, are now open. If you book to dine there, they will arrange for you to sail home to Hong Kong Island in style on the picturesque Aqua Luna junk. Sailings are 8.30pm, 9.30pm and 10.30pm ... and even later if there's demand. Call 3988 0104 for a table and the ride home is secured. The group's three other outlets still to open are the Chinese restaurant Loong Toh Yuen, the Mariners restaurant and an ultra-fancy fine-dining venue called St George.
