Questions asked at an admission interview:

St Paul's Co- educational College Primary School: First round is a group interview, in which students are asked to play with bricks and match pictures. A one-on-one session follows in which teachers ask one to two questions about the child's family background. Round one lasts 45 minutes. Parents and children have to attend the second round together and the principal asks parents about their education philosophy and expectations of the school.

St Stephen's College Preparatory School: There are about 10 students in a group. The interviews can be conducted in either Putonghua or English. A teacher tells a story and asks questions at the end. Students have to race to answer the questions by putting up their hands.
