Chrissie Chau Sau-na found fame in a bikini MTR ad. Jessica Cambensy became a celebrity after a TV commercial. The Chinese-American model starred in a series of Canon ads with Eric Kot Man-fai. Now, suddenly, she's among the town's top models. On Tuesday, she helped Kowloon Tong's Festival Walk mall promote its sports retailers by showing up in one of those soon-to-be-banned streamlined swimsuits, and bizarrely doing yoga in it.

'I like this kind of job because it is fun and wacky and it keeps me interested - unlike some normal but boring modelling jobs,' the 21-year-old said. 'It did take me about 10 minutes to put on the suit. I had to jump around and did some stretches to put it on, but it was a lot of fun. I have never worn this before. Now I really want to go under the water to test it out.'

Born in Chicago to a Chinese-Filipino mother and a Caucasian father, Jessica C, as she was christened by the local press, began modelling in Asia at 15. But the Canon girl has other plans for the future. 'I will go back to university, maybe to do a course in film,' she said.
