If it's length that's important to you ...
Speaking of dogs ... the home of Hong Kong's one-metre-long Reuben sandwich has come up with another gargantuan item.
The Main Street Deli in Tsim Sha Tsui's The Langham hotel now offers hungry diners the option of a 20-inch hotdog. Available in beef, pork, chicken or as a vegetarian frankfurter, the monster wiener comes with a choice of three garnishes, two sauces and one side order. Sauces include the traditional ketchup, mustard, mayo and more adventurous topping like blue cheese.
The question is, who really needs to eat a 20-inch hot dog? But if you're up for the challenge, it's HK$218. A regular 10-inch sausage - still a mouthful - is also on the menu for HK$158. But for goodness' sake, don't suggest it to your girlfriend for Valentine's Day.
