Heavier workload for pre-school teachers

Nearly 70 per cent of kindergarten teachers say their workload has increased over the past three years because of a voucher scheme intended to raise standards in pre-school education. A Hong Kong Institute of Education survey on the Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme also finds more than 80 per cent say they now have to perform non-teaching administrative jobs.
