A master of business administration course organised jointly with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has topped an international table of business schools for the second year in a row.
The rankings take into account factors such as student diversity, research capability and the average annual salary achieved by graduates within three years.
HKUST's programme came top among the 100 schools in the last factor. Its graduates earn an average of US$392,076 a year within three years.
Graduates enjoy a 69 per cent pay rise on their pre-EMBA salaries.
Chinese University jumped from 19th place last year to 10th this year.
The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Programme, jointly offered by the university and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Chicago, was named No1 in the latest rankings of the world's top 100 executive MBA programmes by the Financial Times. The course, which joined the rankings in 2003, was also No1 last year and in 2007.
It came higher than the prestigious London Business School, whose joint executive MBA with Columbia University, New York, was No2 this year.
