Estate agents' disciplinary records go online

The Estate Agents Authority today launches an online search engine that will allow members of the public to search for information about disciplinary wrongdoing by agents. The period for which the authority will retain licensed agents' disciplinary records will be also extended to two years, from a maximum of one year. Details can be found in the 'disciplinary proceedings' section of its website, www.eaa.org.hk. Before the launch, records were published in the licence register, the Government Gazette and on the website.
