Undercarriage fault delays Dragonair flight

A Dragonair flight with 34 passengers on board returned to a terminal at Chek Lap Kok airport after a fault in the landing gear was discovered before it left for Taipei at about 6.30pm. The passengers were transferred to a Cathay Pacific flight that left at 8.13pm. Dragonair flight 482 eventually took off at 8.37pm after an examination. The airline said an investigation would be conducted. The Airport Authority said operations were otherwise unaffected.
