A District Court judge issued an arrest warrant yesterday for a Macau engineer charged with laundering HK$20.3 million in crime proceeds. Ieong Wa-kong, 44, former deputy general manager of construction and engineering company Companhia De Construcao E Engenharia San Meng Fai, failed to turn up in court yesterday for a pretrial review. He was charged after allegedly transferring the funds to the company, which was controlled by jailed former Macau minister Ao Man-long.
