The MBA programme offered by the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) is designed for individuals who are already in positions of responsibility, who have been identified as possessing higher management and leadership potential, and who aspire to an advanced management position.
'MGSM gives managers the skills they need to excel at a high level in business,' says Professor Richard Petty, associate dean (international) and professor in management (accounting and finance) at MGSM.
Its programmes are taught by world-class faculty, most of them with extensive business experience, and possess stellar academic credentials, he adds.
The overall MBA programme can be completed in four stages. Successful students receive credit towards each subsequent stage of the programme. As a result, students are able to receive four postgraduate qualifications in the same time it takes to complete an MBA.
Students can receive a postgraduate certificate after six months, a postgraduate diploma after 12 months, a master's of management after 18 months and an MBA after 30 months.
As the programme is offered in association with the Hong Kong Management Association, and with an MGSM professor and associate dean based in Hong Kong to oversee the programme, students are provided with a high degree of help and administrative support throughout their studies.
