With many studies now showing the devastating impact of lost time in the classroom, the government has made a poor decision to shut down schools, especially when reasonable policies can be put in place to minimise risk.

Hong Kong must eventually re-enter the world economy as a trading hub and global city. Caution must give way to the fact vaccines are the ultimate protection, and those who do not use them can no longer expect the government to protect them.
