On calls for the government to offer enhanced childcare services so more mothers can rejoin the workforce:
Maggie Tze - I agree, the government should take a lead to offer more childcare services because finding a good maid is very difficult.
Patrick Shu Wing Lee - Some mums do not really want to rejoin the workforce for one reason or another. It is in fact better for children to be looked after by their own mums. Besides, not all industries are short of staff. There are other ways to resolve the problems.
Jessie Tong - Also increase retirement age to keep existing workforce.
Ellen Oi Lun Cheung - Will be [a] big help to young parents. More families need two incomes to get by these days.
Parminder Singh - What's with this obsession with moms joining the workforce?
Gabriel Butler - Yes. It might also help to alleviate the low birth-rate issue.
 
On claims Mong Kok's pedestrian precinct is descending into chaos because of so many street performers: 
Judith Sirreal - That is like saying Times Square is descended into chaos. All the same things there, only much taller. Mong Kok is lively fun and if you would like street quiet go elsewhere.
Gordon Lamb - Get rid of the phone and cable company salesmen and leave the street performers, who add a little colour and enjoyment.
Steven Keys - Descending into chaos…hmm…a tad dramatic possibly…it's all a part of the MK experience.
 
On HK's real estate developers whose profit margins are being squeezed:
Lui Sieh - Tough being part of the property mafia these days? Boo hoo, join the rest of HK.
Lizette Smook - Still many fat cats out there, too many to count.
