Is it over and out for Hong Kong? It would seem so. There is the national security law, the overhaul of the electoral system and the overhaul of liberal studies in our education system, including the possible installation of CCTV cameras in classrooms.
Not only has our democratic progress come to a full stop, it is now reversing. Beijing has taken over, applauded by our so-called government, and as it stands now there is no way back.
Then again, a few questions.

Did not nearly 2 million people take to the streets in a peaceful manner? Did the District Council elections not prove the dissatisfaction within our community? Didn’t our next generation express their lack of faith in their future?
All of the above are true and still being ignored. The pro-government parties together with Beijing and our dysfunctional government will ultimately have to face the fact that the not-so-silent majority has to be accommodated.
Now, a few facts. The minimum wage policy is a scam as the haves are determined to scrutinise the have-nots.
