Chef Specialty menus at Wynn Macau restaurants offer visitors a true fine-dining experience
Four of the resort’s award-winning restaurants – Golden Flower, Wing Lei, Mizumi and Ristorane Il Teatro – are offering special set menus until May 31, showcasing some of their signature dishes

People might not immediately think of Macau when they are looking for a fine-dining experience. The city, in fact, is home to some of the finest and swankiest restaurants in the region. At Wynn Macau, four multi-award winning restaurants – Golden Flower, Wing Lei, Mizumi and Ristorane Il Teatro – are introducing new Chef Specialty set menus, showcasing some of their signature dishes.
The Chef Specialty menus, available until May 31, celebrate the hotel’s being the only resort in the world to have received eight Five-Star awards from Forbes Travel Guide. It has also received numerous other accolades, such as Michelin stars and recommendations for its quality fine-dining cuisines.
Let’s take a look at what’s available on the Chef Specialty set menus at these restaurants.
Golden Flower
With its two Michelin-stars, the Golden Flower was recently named one of the top 20 restaurants in Macau by SCMP’s 100 Top Tables 2017 – A CEO’s Dining Guide. It is famous for its authentic and exquisite Tan delicacies, a school of traditional Chinese cuisine developed by Qing Dynasty official Tan Zongjun. The special set menu has eight dishes, and starts with three dainty appetisers – Beijing roasted pork, spiced braised yellow croaker, and the sweet and sour cabbage roll with mango in chilli vinaigrette. The braised three treasures in supreme chicken broth – prepared with fish maw, abalone, Matsutake and the restaurant’s well-known chicken soup base – is savoury and sumptuous. It is so balanced that you can still appreciate the original flavour of each ingredient. The main dish – Golden Flower tea smoked chicken (iron Buddha and jasmine tea leaves are used to cook the chicken) – is tender and juicy, with a nice smoked flavour.
