Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, and you still haven’t found the perfect gift (or treat for yourself)? Before you rush out to the nearest florist, consider the bouquet of rose-inspired products at the beauty counter. Not only do they look good and smell great, these skincare and make-up must-haves will last a whole lot longer than a few pretty petals.

1. L’Occitane Rose Heart Ultra Soft Cream and Hand Cream
Perfect for winter but offering a hint of spring thanks to their delicate rose scent, these nourishing creams absorb quickly to soften and protect delicate skin. 3. Lancôme Highlighter Blush

4. Chantecaille Lip Chic in Wild Rose
A cross between a gloss and a lipstick, Chantecaille’s Lip Chic (HK$350) comes in two new shades for spring: Wild Rose, an intense pink, and Primrose, a softer coral. Both contain collagen for a plumping effect. Available at Chantecaille

5. Deborah Lippmann La Vie en Rose
Nail polish guru Deborah Lippmann is known for setting trends and if her Spring Reveries collection is anything to go by, we’ll all soon be in pastels. 6. Anna Sui Rose Cheek Color
Inspired by “the prettiness of a girl in love”, Anna Sui’s spring make-up collection is tailor-made for Valentine’s Day.
