Will K-pop girl group Twice maintain their appeal to fans with their sexy new concept?
Instead of shy girls with rosy cheeks, Twice have returned with sexually confident lyrics and powerful choreography on their seventh mini album Fancy You and the new music video Fancy.
Previously, the girls’ lyrics were rather passive when describing relationships – such as the line “Please understand my feelings” – but the new Twice are much more racy, with lyrics such as, “I will get you right now.”


The six-track mini album is a mix of electric pop and classical flute. The group collaborated with international artists including Charli XCX, while Twice members Jihyo, Momo, Sana and Chae-young helped write the lyrics.
“Their participation helps Twice regain authenticity, showing the true colours of the group,” says Twice’s management company, JYP Entertainment.
Twice have achieved huge since success since their debut in 2015 with hits such as Cheer Up and TT.

The girl group are now preparing for a series of concerts in nine different cities across seven countries, starting in Seoul in May 25 to 26, then Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark, Chicago and Kuala Lumpur.
