K-pop star Seungri arranged prostitutes for investors in 2015, say police
- Seungri could face arrest after Korean police examined bank records and phone conversations between Seungri and his business partner
- The K-pop singer denies the accusations, saying he was only paying back the hospitality shown to him

Seungri, a former member of K-pop boy band BigBang, arranged prostitution services for Japanese investors in December 2015, South Korean police announced on Wednesday after his business partner and several sex workers admitted to the allegations.
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency are now considering seeking an arrest warrant for Seungri after examining the bank accounts and phone records of those involved.
Officers said they had booked 17 sex workers and brokers―involved in the alleged prostitution service, adding that most had already admitted to the allegations.
Seungri allegedly held a Christmas party in 2015 for potential Japanese investors in one of his businesses and arranged prostitutes for them. Police have been investigating the allegations based on mobile messages between Seungri and his business partner and former CEO of Yuri Holdings, Yu In-seok.
