Blackpink, the K-pop girl group managed by YG Entertainment, seem to be making history with every new song, both as women and K-pop idols.
Their recent album, “Kill This Love”, broke the YouTube record for most-viewed videos, beating Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next”. And now, Blackpink member Jennie has become the first Korean female solo singer to reach 300 million views for a video.

Last November, Jennie became the first Blackpink member to release a solo track. Solo reached 100 million views within 23 days after its release, a record for a solo female K-pop singer.
It topped several music charts within an hour of release and is still in the top 100 of several South Korean charts.
