K-pop star Taeyeon has hit the top of the South Korean charts with her new song from the soundtrack to the K-drama series Hotel Del Luna, starring singer-actress IU.
On Sunday, the former Girls’ Generation member released A Poem Titled You, the third single to be released from the drama soundtrack for the drama. After the song’s release at 6pm, it instantly climbed to the top of major music charts in South Korea, topping Melon, Genie, Bugs, Naver, Soribada and others.
This follows the March release of her comeback single Four Seasons, which topped the Gaon chart for three weeks. It had been almost been three years since Taeyon released a single from a drama soundtrack, following various hits such as If, Can You Hear Me and All With You.
