iKon to make comeback a year after K-pop lead singer B.I quit over a drug scandal
- B.I famously quit the K-pop band last year after admitting to buying and using marijuana
- The remaining six members are back, posting photos on Instagram from their new music video

K-pop act iKon are set to make their comeback after former leader B.I quit the band last year over a drug scandal.
The group posted three photos from their new music video on their official Instagram page on Monday, showing members in dazzling red outfits against a backdrop of fire.
“Preparations for the music and the MV [music video] are in the final stages,” iKon agency YG Entertainment said, without revealing the EP’s release date or the lead track’s title.
B.I, 23, left the group last June after being involved in a marijuana scandal. The singer, whose real name is Kim Han-bin, admitted in September that he had bought and consumed marijuana in 2016. He was then charged. Former YG chief Yang Hyun-suk has been investigated for allegedly attempting to cover up the drug case.
