K-pop sensations BTS have disclosed the tentative schedule for their 2020 world tour. The seven-piece group should kick off the “BTS Map of the Soul Tour” in Seoul on April 11, say the band’s agency Big Hit Entertainment, and wind up in Tokyo on September 2.
The tour will call in on North American cities including Los Angeles (May 2-3), New Jersey (May 23-24), Toronto (May 30-31) before heading across the Atlantic to cities such as London (July 3-4), Berlin (July 11-12) and Barcelona (July 17-18).
Apart from Seoul, the only other Asian cities on the schedule are in Japan: Fukuoka (June 28-29), Osaka (July 23, July 25-26 and August 1-2), Saitama (August 7-8) and Tokyo (September 1-2).
Previous Asian stops such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila and Taipei are noticeably absent from the schedule. However, the venue for the June 13-14 concerts was not revealed in the line-up and Big Hit did not provide any hint.
