Two Hongkongers are among 10 finalists named in a global eco-design award organised by fashion NGO Redress.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University student Tsang Fan-yu and design assistant Esther Lui were among the five designers from the region (there are also five from Europe) to make the list of the EcoChic Design Award finalists.

The 10 designers will continue their ambitions to create a more sustainable fashion industry by producing a six-piece collection showcasing their creativity and using zero-waste design techniques and reconstruction.
