Hong Kong hosts California burger chain In-N-Out's second pop-up
Four-hour event promoted via social media drew diners to Causeway Bay restaurant to sample chain's famed sandwiches

Famed Californian burger chain In-N-Out hosts its second Hong Kong pop-up event in Barg restaurant, Causeway Bay today. The temporary restaurant opened at 11am and closed at 3pm.
Serving much but not all of the US menu, the pop-up offers a basic hamburger, a cheeseburger, a double meat burger and “the animal” – a customisable sandwich. The burgers come with soft drinks and crisps rather than fries.
The event at the Italian restaurant in Yiu Wa Street was advertised on Facebook and customers we spoke to at the event said they had found out about it via social media.
The reaction to the event, appeared muted, however, compared to the 2012 pop-up. That was also a mere four hours, and held at The Glasshouse restaurant, but attracted a large crowd.
That event, though, was announced several days beforehand and queues of Californians who had grown up with the small chain formed from 9am onwards.
