- Food entrepreneur Guillaume Kaminer loves fusion dim sum, the organic Mediterranean cuisine of his go-to neighbourhood place, and Treehouse’s plant-based fare
- He likes taking visitors to one of Crystal Jade’s Shanghai cuisine restaurants, and heads to pal Olivier Elzer’s Michelin-star L’Envol for a celebration dinner
French expat Guillaume Kaminer has lived in Hong Kong since 2004 and is the CEO and co-founder of Eatology, a meal service offering science-backed practical, sustainable and healthy meal plans.
I am a pescatarian, so I adhere to a diet that is predominantly Mediterranean-inspired. I like the flavour and the diversity of this region and never get bored with it.
I like CIAK – In The Kitchen’s (Shop 327-333, 3/F, The Landmark, 15 Queen’s Road Central, Central, tel: 2522 8869) bufala pizza with fresh mozzarella and basil. It’s so simple but hands down the best pizza in Hong Kong.
Man Mo Dim Sum (40 Upper Lascar Row, Sheung Wan, tel: 2644 5644) is great for its East-meets-West fusion. Their set lunch is excellent, in particular, the truffle Brie is amazing. If you have room, their Hong Kong egg lemon tart as dessert is also pretty special.
