October usually brings cooler autumnal winds to Hong Kong, a welcome relief from the previous months’ ever oppressive summer heat.

Although the mercury can still tip over 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), there is a dip in humidity that makes you want to wear longer sleeves and head outdoors.

As such, you might want to consider any one of a number of new terrace spaces, in Wan Chai, Stanley, Tai Koo, Tsim Sha Tsui East and the Elements shopping centre, opening in October the next time you dine out.
