1. Peppermint angelfish
(HK$100,000)

This Caribbean species is seldom seen in Hong Kong. It is popular in Japan, where aquarium hobbyists are willing to shell out large sums for rare varieties. The last time the white and orange striped fish was sold in Hong Kong was 2011.

2. Blue queen angelfish
(HK$100,000)

Also from the Caribbean, this species is typically found in underwater caves. The location of their habitat makes them difficult to catch, so they are rarely seen on the pet fish market.

Sporting tiger-like stripes, it comes from South Africa and prefers to live in colder, deeper waters.
4. Yellowbar angelfish-semicircle angelfish hybrid (HK$30,000)

This mixed breed is endemic to the waters of India, Australia and Hawaii.
