The city skyline provides the backdrop to an interior of muted colours, bronze tones, wood panelling and a Venetian mural. 

There is a tasting menu, and the à la carte option offers classic and modern Italian dishes. 

A classic starter includes a traditional minestrone with pesto, Parma ham and Parmesan cheese. Home-made pastas can be starters or mains; try the Little Nicholini’s with black truffle sauce. For mains, black cod with celery root cream and vegetables with rosemary dressing, and cotoletta – veal Milanese with bitter lemon sauce and green tomato salad– are worth trying. For a finale, ask about the pairing from the wine and cheese library.
