Commanding a bird’s-eye view of the city from the 102nd floor of The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, the restaurant is stunning, with large chandeliers and two fountains.

If that isn’t enough distraction, diners can enjoy looking at the open kitchen where chef Angelo Aglianó and team produce contemporary Italian pasta dishes such as mezzi paccheri with Sicilian red shrimps and basil pesto sauce and guinea fowl tortellini, onion consommé with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

Mains are lamb shoulder with potato, provolone cheese and truffle sauce. Don’t miss the desserts, especially the tiramisu with coffee granite. There is a good choice of wines.
