I know a place: Neelam Daswani, PR and events specialist

I've been working in F&B promotions for 12 years and through that have become a huge foodie. As much as I try to be healthy and have meals at home, I love going out and checking out the newest places around town. I'm blessed to have some great girlfriends who share my hobby.
When I'm just having dinner with my husband, we go to (shop 11, 1/F Brim 28, 28 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, tel: 2877 3552). It's romantic, outdoors, and has a great red wine selection. You must try the tuna tartare and the rotisserie chicken. It's a great getaway by the harbour.
When I'm out with my girlfriends, we like (7/F LKF Tower, 33 Wyndham Street, Central, tel: 2321 8681). It's an amazing location, fun, lively, and a place to laugh loudly. They make the most amazing chicken rosemary paella.
My university roommate was Kuwaiti, so I went through some extensive training in Middle Eastern cuisine. To get it right, you must have the best tahini. For a quiet neighbourhood dinner we head to see chef Nadeem at (8 Glenealy, Central, tel: 2147 9191).
For a bigger meal, the new (25/F 235-239 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, tel: 2838 4597) has the best lamb kebabs and hummus in town. I love the baklava, too.
For out of town guests, the (30/F iSquare, 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2487 3988) has the best view and serves creative cocktails. Other drinking hot spots are (LG/F Nam Cheong House, 129 Second Street, Sai Ying Pun, tel: 9158 1584) and (163 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan, tel: 2956 3188).
