Matching the iPad Mini's aesthetic, and ideal for travelling light while staying productive, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover Mini (HK$698, apple.com/hk). Bluetooth keyboard attaches magnetically at the spine, and works well as a simple cover. The keyboard itself has a groove for slotting an iPad Mini in landscape or portrait orientation. Although its squeezed sides take a few minutes to get used to, after that typing is problem-free. Battery life stretches to an unbeatable six months.

With cowhide that's been crafted in three different ways to look like pony, ostrich and regular leather, this pink clutch is perfect for a night out on the town. Hand-stitched by Covert, the envelope-style Suki (HK$390, covertaccessories.com) has a gold-coloured rim that hides a magnetic fastener. The iPad Mini Retina then fits snugly inside a velvet-like interior. Also available in black, orange and crimson.

Perfect for students, frequent fliers and anyone who moves between meetings clutching an iPad Mini Retina, the Waterfield Designs Travel Express (HK$535, sfbags.com) has a nicely sized reinforced pocket that can take the tablet even if it's wearing Apple's popular Smart Cover. An iPhone pouch nearby is welcome, as is some room for stowing a cable and perhaps even a portable battery. A flash of colour on the front lends some class, though it's the D-rings for an optional shoulder strap that help make this the most practical case for busy mobile lives.
