SPIRITED ADDITION
After enjoying the Wedgwood afternoon tea at The Langham Hong Kong's Palm Court, don't leave without visiting the new Artesian bar next to the restaurant. It is the sister bar to The Langham London's Artesian, which has been voted the world's best cocktail bar for three consecutive years by Drinks International, and it's part of the hotel's new multimillion-dollar facelift. The art-deco-designed Artesian Hong Kong offers a highly varied range of gin and tonics. Barman Rajendra Limbu says it's the craft tonics and gins that offer diversity to the classic drink. He also specialises in mixing bourbon-based cocktails.
TOP-FLIGHT MENU

Business-class travellers on All Nippon Airways are in for a treat with a newly designed menu by chef Mok Kit-keung from the Kowloon Shangri-La's Cantonese restaurant Shang Palace. The menu starts next month with seasonal and Chinese festive dishes such as parma ham with lychee, marinated eggplant with minced garlic, smoked duck breast with pineapple, and stir-fried eggplant with Sichuan sauce. Another four Shangri-La sister hotels on the mainland will also contribute Shang Palace dishes to ANA's business-class menu next year.
