TURN-ONS The house-crafted burrata with manuka honey, shaved black truffle, figs and country bread has a perfect balance of flavours. The burrata was smooth and creamy with the figs and honey adding a sweet note to the black truffle. The lobster bisque with Cognac cream and chives is rich, creamy with more than a hint of Cognac - it's one of the best lobster bisques in town. For mains, the 8oz premier protein wagyu 8+ was tender and juicy and we ordered sides of mushrooms and mashed potatoes which are up there with Joël Robuchon's mash. The slow-cooked Chilean sea bass with potato gnocchi, pancetta nage, green peas and crispy pancetta was divine. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and went well with the broth, peas and gnocchi. For dessert, we had to try the crepe soufflé with lemon cream, cream cheese sorbet and strawberry compote . The crêpe soufflé was just that, a crêpe with a soufflé texture, and it came with a deconstructed cheese cake. Delicious if not rich.
