Limewood, Repulse Bay: the restaurant’s sea view, seafood menu and tropical cocktails are top draws
- The restaurant’s huge French windows add to the beachside feel – with delightful seafood – including a whole-fish menu – to match

FARE Barbecued seafood and meat with Californian flair.
AMBIENCE French windows open up to Repulse Bay beach. On a clear day, it feels like there is little distance between diners and the ocean. Aqua-coloured walls and white wood panelling add to the tropical theme, giving a relaxed vibe.
COST Many dishes are for sharing and the bill could easily run to more than HK$500 per head if you order a drink or two.
WHO TO BRING Friends and anyone you want to have a good time with.
TURN-ONS The jerk coconut corn alone is worth the visit to Limewood. The tangy jerk sauce with aromatic toasted coconut works well with the sweetcorn. We tried the piggy smalls taco, a dish imported from the menu at Brickhouse. The achiote pork belly and roasted pineapple drizzled with bacon aioli was refreshing on the palate, but messy on the hands.
