Cannabidiol, or CBD, will be banned in Hong Kong from February. But those who want to try, or revisit, CBD massages can indulge next time they are in Thailand, where cannabis is now legal for medical use.

Cannabis oil has anti-inflammatory and pain-reducing properties.

Here are three Bangkok spas offering cannabis-infused treatments to help you relax or soothe aching muscles.

The Anantara Spa offers three types of CBD treatment. The 90-minute Restful Slumber Journey for those who are jet-lagged or sleep-deprived includes a cannabis-oil salt bath followed by a CBD-oil-infused massage.

The Cannabis Stress-Release Journey is geared towards those with muscle pain, and the Head to Toe Calming Journey uses cannabis oils and balms to work on your head and feet. Guests are served CBD tea at the beginning and end of the treatments.

RAKxa Wellness & Medical Retreat

RAKxa has just launched its Thai Deep Sleep and Skin Radiant Therapy, in which CBD and coconut oils are blended and used in an authentic Thai massage.
