Celebrities are in mourning for singer-actress Sulli, 25, who was found dead at her house in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on Monday, October 14. Her legal name is Choi Jin-ri.

“Jin-ri, please do as you like in that world,” Goo Ha-ra, a former member of now-defunct K-pop girl group KARA also know as Koo Ha-ra, wrote on her Instagram. She also posted a photo of herself with Sulli.

Park Gyu-ri, KARA's ex-leader, also wrote: “She was so pretty and bright. Words cannot say how I feel now. I hope this world becomes more generous to everyone.”

Mina, formerly of K-pop girl band AOA, said: “Jin-ri, please do not suffer [up there] and be happy.”

Actor Shin Hyun-joon lashed out at online haters, saying: “A precious person has left us again. Online haters, you are cowardly and faceless murderers.”

Several K-pop acts including SuperM, Taeyeon, DAY6 and N.Flying called off their schedules to express their sorrow.

Sulli was found dead in her two-storey home in Seongnam. A person from her agency SM Entertainment found her body at 3:21pm, according to Seongnam Sujeong Police. Police have indicated there were no suspicious circumstances.

Sulli debuted as a child actress in 2005, and later found fame a member of f(x) in 2009 with the single La Cha Ta. She left the group in 2015.
