The celebrity couple shocked the world by naming their daughter and first child North, which could have been in honour of the American airline carrier, Northwest Airlines. The true inspiration behind their child’s name isn’t clear; Kris Jenner once said in an interview on The View that North means “highest power”. However, in a recent video posted on Kylie Jenner’s YouTube account in January, Kim revealed that she first got the inspiration for the name on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and it somehow stuck. They didn’t shy away from bold names for their other children, naming them Saint, Psalm and Chicago

According to some sources, Jillette picked the middle name in case his daughter ever found herself on the wrong side of the law – she could convince authorities she was doing no wrong, using the excuse that her middle name is CrimeFighter.
