The daughter of the US president’s top aide, teen Claudia Conway wants to work for Trump foe Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and has feuded with her parents on TikTok: now her parents are stepping back from the limelight, will harmony resume?
Claudia Conway, the 15-year-old daughter of controversial White House counsellor Kellyanne Conway and George Conway III, announced on Twitter that she is seeking emancipation from her parents. This was promptly followed by the aide quitting her job and her husband taking a step back from The Lincoln Project, a Republican organisation against the re-election of Donald Trump in 2020.
Claudia Conway has described herself as a “radical agnostic liberal/leftist” on TikTok. The eldest Conway daughter posted videos voicing her support for the Black Lives Matter protests and LGBTQ+ rights, alongside critical comments on the current administration’s policies. Her views were reported to have landed her mother in hot water, and Claudia deleted her TikTok account, but she returned to the platform in the latter half of July.

She’s a twin
Claudia and her twin brother George are the oldest of four siblings. Their younger sisters are Charlotte, 11, and Vanessa, 10. It was said that their parents wanted to keep the four kids out of the spotlight, but with 675,000 followers on TikTok, the eldest Conway daughter became an internet celebrity this summer, thrust her into the public consciousness.
She’s a natural brunette
While Conway is now blonde, older photos reveal she was a brunette when she was 13. Her father is half-Filipino and while we’re not sure if Kellyanne is a natural blonde, if you remember your high school biology class on genes, brown-haired allele is dominant over blonde. So odds are, all the Conway kids are brunettes.
