Kwan left the entertainment industry in 2007 and has since has time spare to indulge in anything that took her fancy. She practises yoga and plays the drums, besides working on her own make-up brand Rosamour and a collaborative clothing line with Moiselle.

Kwan has reportedly accumulated a lot of wealth from property investments since her retirement, which likely helps support her fabulous lifestyle. Recently she opened up her home on a television segment about feng shui, giving audiences worldwide a glimpse inside her multimillion dollar home.

She has a net worth of over HK$500 million (US$64.2 million)

Reaching the height of her fame in 80s and 90s, mostly through numerous appearances in Hong Kong films, the star of the Once Upon a Time in China franchise then steadily retreated from the limelight and started amassing a fortune in property.

It was reported on topick.hket.com that she bought a flat at The Nautilus in Hong Kong’s Repulse Bay for HK$113 million. That development’s units have more than tripled in value since. The same source says she bought a flat in the exclusive residential complex, Tregunter, in Mid-Levels in 2017, for HK$190 million. These two investments alone would put her with over HK$500 million in assets today.
