Meet Kep1er’s 9 members, K-pop reality show Girls Planet 999’s winning idols: from TXT vocalist Huening Kai’s sister to former JYP and SM Entertainment trainees and a singer from Sichuan, China

Barely two months after the debut of Kep1er, the rookie girl group is already planning its next steps towards world domination. Formed through the reality show Girls Planet 999, the nine-piece made a fast impact with January’s mini album “First Impact” and its lead single Wa Da Da.
If you missed out on Girls Planet 999, here is a brief introduction to the group’s nine members ahead of their Queendom appearance later this month.
1. Chaehyun
Chaehyun later placed first in the finale of Girls Planet 999. While grateful for the support, she shared with Rolling Stone Australia that she never expected such a response, and was initially worried if she would even do well.
2. Huening Bahiyyih
Also born in 2004, Bahiyyih is the little sister of Tomorrow X Together vocalist Huening Kai. Despite the pressure of having an already-famous sibling, she worked hard to earn her place in Kep1er, ranking second by the end of the show.
3. Yujin
Yujin, born in 1996, is the group’s most experienced member and thus its leader. She originally debuted back in 2015 as a dancer in the girl group CLC but, as she revealed on Girls Planet 999, has stopped receiving support from its agency.
